Per diem Pre-Admission Testing RN

Coordinate and evaluate preoperative screening for assigned patients at Wills Eye Hospital, managing the PAT chart creation process including EKGs, cardiac clearance, and physical histories. Communicate with anesthesia staff and physicians to arrange clearances, review complex medical information in the EMR, and document all interactions. Initiate patient care plans, obtain complete medical histories, and file operative notes while identifying special needs to ensure proper care. Maintain accurate, confidential records and respond promptly to emails and telephone inquiries. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a Pennsylvania RN license, BLS certification, and 2-4 years of related experience.
