Job Summary
A Polysomnographic Technologist will perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, gather and analyze patient information, prepare and calibrate testing equipment, and ensure the collection of appropriate data. Responsibilities include applying electrodes, performing procedures such as MSLT and PAP, and scoring sleep studies following professional guidelines. Candidates must hold RPSGT certification, complete required training, and demonstrate the ability to provide age-specific care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and maintain their RPSGT certification
- Certified in CPR or BLS
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of scoring experience preferred
- Experience with Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) and PAP procedures
Additional Requirements
- Patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric)
