Job Summary
Join Kelsey-Seybold Clinic as a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician II, where you will assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, process sales transactions, and maintain good customer service. Key responsibilities include stocking OTC items, processing clinic medication requisitions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 2-4 years of retail pharmacy experience or completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program, and TSBP Registration. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of HMO and 3rd party managed care experience. Competencies needed include stress tolerance, physical stamina, and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 - 4 years retail pharmacy experience
- TSBP Registration
- Able to communicate with customers to handle complaints and problems
- Operate computer terminal for processing prescriptions.
- Math cash handling – able to add and subtract; able to make changes; able complete daily cash report.
- Stress Tolerance – to receive prescriptions and ring up sales in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina – to work in fast paced environment, and maneuver around pharmacy.
- Able to travel to multiple pharmacy locations.
