Job Summary
Pharmacy Cashier role at Cornell Health within Student & Campus Life. Responsible for handling prescription and OTC point-of-sale transactions, assisting customers, and supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Requires high school diploma and cashier experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Emphasizes excellent customer service, diversity and inclusion, and adaptability to irregular schedules. Onsite at Ithaca Main Campus; pay is $23.69/hour; position not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and previous experience as a retail cashier.
- Relevant experience includes working in fast paced customer service retail setting, cashiering, and payment at time-of-service transactions.
- High degree of attention to detail in cashier responsibility.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and to meet HIPAA requirements.
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
