Job Summary
Pharmacy Cashier at Cornell Health Pharmacy responsible for handling prescription and OTC point-of-sale transactions, assisting customers, and supporting pharmacy operations. Works closely with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to ensure smooth checkout and accurate processing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Emphasizes excellent customer service, attention to detail, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and engagement with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- previous experience as a retail cashier
- Retail cashier experience in fast-paced environment
- Cashiering and payment at time-of-service transactions
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with diverse populations and commitment to DEI
