Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship while providing temporary coverage when regular caregivers are unavailable. Perform transfers and safely lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Work primarily daytime weekday shifts between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability and optional holiday coverage. Travel 30 minutes to 1.5 hours between Portland and nearby communities for multiple clients, with mileage reimbursement provided. Required Qualifications
- At least one year of caregiving experience
- PSS Certified
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
- Current immunization documentation, including MMR, Varicella, and annual influenza vaccination records
- Ability to successfully pass a background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing settings
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
