Job Summary
Per diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician sought for St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Must be board-certified/board-eligible and fellowship-trained in PEM. Current shifts are 11 AM–9 PM (10 hours) with a goal of 24/7 coverage. Malpractice coverage provided. Pediatric-trained nurses available 24/7. Department expanding from a 6-bed unit to 10 beds in Fall 2026. EM resident support for PEM shifts. Our pediatric emergency department serves over 10,000 children per year within a robust pediatric specialty network and includes a 17-bed inpatient unit and PICU with in-house pediatric hospitalists and intensivists 24/7, plus extensive specialty coverage across 40 areas.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Fellowship-trained in PEM
- Eligible to practice medicine in Pennsylvania (implied by facility location)
