Job Summary
Per Diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for St. Luke's Children's Hospital Emergency Department in Bethlehem, PA. Must be board-certified or board-eligible and fellowship-trained in PEM. Current shifts are 11 AM–9 PM (10 hours) with a goal of 24/7 coverage. Malpractice coverage provided. Pediatric-trained nurses available 24/7. Unit expanding from 6 to 10 beds in Fall 2026. EM resident support for PEM shifts. The department includes a large network with multiple pediatric subspecialists and a robust teaching framework involving pediatric residents. Responsibilities span direct pediatric emergency care, collaboration with pediatric specialists, and participation in residency education.
