Job Summary
Per Diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician sought to join St. Luke's Children's Hospital PEM team in Bethlehem, PA. Must be board-certified/board-eligible and fellowship-trained in PEM. Current shifts are 11 AM–9 PM (10 hours) with a goal of 24/7 coverage; malpractice coverage provided; pediatric-trained nurses available 24/7. Unit expanding from 6 to 10 beds in Fall 2026; EM residents supported on PEM shifts; department comprises a broad pediatric specialty network and a busy ED serving over 10,000 children per year across a robust academic-hospital system. The role entails providing pediatric emergency care within a 6-bed (expanding) ED, within a national network that includes pediatric hospital medicine, intensivists, and a wide range of subspecialists.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Fellowship-trained in PEM
- Active medical license in good standing (implies licensure/board eligibility)
