Job Summary
Per diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician needed for St. Luke's Children's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department in Bethlehem, PA. Must be board-certified/board-eligible and fellowship-trained in PEM. Current shifts run 11 AM–9 PM (10 hours) with ongoing efforts toward 24/7 coverage. Malpractice coverage provided; pediatric-trained nurses available 24/7. 6-bed PEM unit expanding to 10 beds in Fall 2026. EM residency support for PEM shifts; program supports pediatric residents and a large multi-campus network. Role involves emergency pediatric care within a dedicated pediatric ED staffed by specialists across 40 areas, contributing to care for over 320,000 patients annually across the network.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Fellowship-trained in PEM
