Job Summary
Per Diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician sought for St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Responsibilities include providing PEM coverage on current 11 AM–9 PM (10-hour) shifts with the goal of 24/7 coverage, supporting an expanding pediatric ED (6 beds expanding to 10), with in-house pediatric-trained nurses 24/7, EM resident support, and malpractice coverage provided. The department operates within a robust, multi-campus network serving over 320,000 annual ED visits and 10,000+ pediatric patients per year, featuring numerous pediatric subspecialists and teaching-residencies. Ideal candidates are PEM physicians who are board-certified or board-eligible and fellowship-trained, comfortable working in a university-affiliated teaching hospital environment.
