Job Summary
Per diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician sought for St. Luke's Children's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department in Bethlehem, PA. Role requires PEM board certification/board eligibility with fellowship training; shifts currently 11 AM–9 PM (10 hours) with a trajectory toward 24/7 coverage. Malpractice coverage provided; pediatric-trained nurses available 24/7; unit expanding from 6 beds to 10 beds by Fall 2026; EM resident support for PEM shifts. The department serves over 10,000 pediatric patients annually across a robust 16-campus network, with multiple pediatric subspecialties and in-house pediatric hospitalists/intensivists providing 24/7 coverage. Location highlights include a large teaching hospital setting with extensive emergency medicine and pediatric services, training, and research opportunities.
