Job Summary
Per diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician sought to join St. Luke's Children's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department in Bethlehem, PA. Must be board-certified or board-eligible and fellowship-trained in PEM. Current shifts are 11 AM–9 PM (10 hours) with a goal toward 24/7 coverage; malpractice coverage provided. Pediatric-trained nurses are available 24/7. The department features a 6-bed unit expanding to 10 beds in Fall 2026, EM resident support for PEM shifts, and a robust pediatric specialty network across 40 areas. The role supports a diverse, high-volume pediatric emergency program serving over 320,000 patients annually across two emergency medicine residencies and a wide array of pediatric services.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Fellowship-trained in PEM
- medical license/ability to practice medicine in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain
- physician credentialing requirements
