Job Summary
Per Diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician needed for St. Luke's Children's Hospital Emergency Department in Bethlehem, PA. Must be board-certified/board-eligible and fellowship-trained in PEM. Current shifts run 11 AM–9 PM (10 hours) with ongoing efforts toward 24/7 coverage. Malpractice coverage provided. Pediatric-trained nurses available 24/7. Department expanding from a 6-bed unit to 10 beds by Fall 2026, with EM resident support for all PEM shifts. Hospital network includes 16 campuses and a broad pediatric specialty team, providing care to over 320,000 patients annually across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Fellowship-trained PEM physician
- Pediatric emergency care experience preferred
- Ability to provide per diem coverage with existing hospital shifts
- Licensed or eligible to practice medicine in Pennsylvania
