Job Summary
Per Diem Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician needed for St. Luke's Children's Hospital emergency department in Bethlehem, PA. Must be board-certified/board-eligible and fellowship-trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Current shifts are 11 AM to 9 PM (10 hours) with ongoing work toward 24/7 coverage; robust EM resident support; expanding 6-bed unit to 10 beds in Fall 2026; pediatric nurses available 24/7; program includes residency with pediatric residents and an expanding network of pediatric specialists across multiple campuses. Strong alignment with emergency medicine practices, trauma centers, and a teaching-hospital environment within a large health system.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/Board-eligible fellowship-trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician
- PEM fellowship training
- Pediatric residency or equivalent
- Able to work per diem shifts (11 AM–9 PM) and contribute to 24/7 goal
- Malpractice coverage provided
- Pediatric-trained nurses available 24/7
