Job Summary
Welcome each member and handle all interactions with high-level hospitality and professionalism. Assist with the check-in process, including benefit eligibility, copays, and co-insurance, while processing transactions to begin or complete visits. Accommodate special requests, resolve member questions promptly, and engage by answering calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to emails. Collaborate with providers and staff to deliver a seamless, patient-centered care experience. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. BLS certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year of experience in customer service position
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Requires standing, walking and sitting for extended periods of time
- Occasionally required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Apple products (Mac, iPad, iPhone), ChromeOS, or client-branded Windows products such as Microsoft or HP
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative care team environment
- Proven organizational skills
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Experience with multitasking, issue resolution, and conflict management
- Experience in a health care service delivery environment
