Job Summary
Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a growing team at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring OMFS residents in clinic and sedation settings, guiding clinical decision-making, patient management and surgical technique. OR privileges are available but not required to cover OR duties. Qualifications include a DDS or DMD, board eligibility or board certification in OMFS, a valid NY license, DEA and Medicaid number. Candidates should have strong clinical abilities in outpatient, inpatient and sedation settings; teaching or mentoring residents is preferred. Per diem rate is $160/hour.
