Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated Elmhurst Hospital Center team. Focused on expanding orthognathic practice with bone regeneration and implantology services. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residents in clinic and sedation settings, providing guidance in clinical decision-making, patient management and surgical technique. OR privileges are available though not required to cover OR duties. Candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree and be board eligible/board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a valid NY license, DEA and Medicaid number. Strong clinical abilities in outpatient, inpatient and sedation settings; teaching/mentoring residents preferred. Per diem rate: $160/hour.
