Job Summary
Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join the Mount Sinai Health System affil iation at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring OMFS residents in clinic and sedation settings; guidance in clinical decision-making and surgical technique; OR privileges available though not required to cover OR duties. Must hold DDS or DMD, be board eligible/board certified in OMFS, and hold a valid NY license with DEA and Medicaid numbers. Strong clinical abilities in outpatient, inpatient and sedation settings; teaching/mentoring residents preferred. Per diem rate is $160/hour. Location: Elmhurst, NY (Queens), with opportunity for OR privileges. EOE.
