Job Summary
Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to supervise and mentor OMFS residents in clinic and sedation settings; provide guidance in clinical decision-making, patient management, and surgical technique. OR privileges are available but not required to cover OR duties. Department focuses on growing orthognathic practice and launching bone regeneration and implantology services. Located at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, NY; candidate should have strong clinical abilities in outpatient, inpatient and sedation settings and experience teaching or mentoring residents.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- board eligible or board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- valid New York State License
