Job Summary
Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join the Mount Sinai Health System affiliate at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring OMFS residents in clinic and sedation settings, providing guidance in clinical decision-making, patient management and surgical technique. There are operating room privileges available, though not required to cover OR duties. Qualifications include DDS/DMD, NY-licensed, DEA and Medicaid numbers, and board eligibility/certification in OMFS. Preferred experience in teaching residents and in outpatient/inpatient/sedation settings; per diem rate is $160/hour. The role supports orthognathic practice development, bone regeneration and implantology initiatives.
