Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Per diem Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join the Mount Sinai Health System affiliated Elmhurst Hospital Center. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residents in clinic and sedation settings, guiding clinical decision-making, patient management and surgical technique. There are operating room privileges available, though not required to cover OR duties. Candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree and be board eligible/board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. Strong clinical abilities and surgical skills in outpatient, inpatient and sedation settings are required; experience in teaching or mentoring Residents is preferred. The per diem rate for this role is $160/hour.
