Job Summary
Per diem Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehab evaluates and treats patients with sports/orthopedic and physical disorders, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to meet goals, oversees rehabilitation aides, documents care and follows regulatory standards; must maintain active OT license in Massachusetts and BLS, and be able to work part-time in a hospital inpatient setting. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing and modifying plans of care, delegating to staff as appropriate, ensuring infection control and patient safety, and providing patient education/home exercise programs.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Occupational Therapy
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Per diem availability
- MA Department of Public Health Occupational Therapy license/approval (Temporary License acceptable)
