Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients in a 6-bed OBED, provide surgical assistance, and cover unassigned obstetrics and gynecology patients. Accept out-of-hospital transfers, manage emergency gyn surgeries, and care for admitted gynecology patients requiring surgery. Perform urgent and emergent OB and gynecology procedures while serving as backup for the midwifery group. This per diem role includes ED coverage and admission management for unassigned cases. The team consists of four per diem physicians with teaching opportunities for residents and students. Located at Swedish Medical Center's Issaquah Highlands campus, the position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $209 to $215, subject to shift and coverage specifics.

- Must be comfortable seeing both obstetrics and gynecology patients
- Must be comfortable performing urgent and emergent OB and gynecology surgeries
