Job Summary
Conduct clinical services including reproductive and sexual health care, obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, and interpret diagnostic testing. Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide patient education on preventive care and health promotion. Collaborate with medical directors and clinic staff to meet productivity benchmarks, ensure smooth patient flow, and maintain accurate documentation and coding. Supervise clinic support staff, counsel HIV-positive clients, and refer patients for prenatal care or adoption services. Follow PPNCS medical standards and guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality and meeting quality assurance requirements. Participate in onboarding new employees and support cross-training initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Current active, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse and APN in state you are applying for the role
- Ability to obtain additional state license(s) upon hire
- Active license as a Physician Assistant
- Current national board-certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or a Physician Assistant
- DEA license
- Ability to obtain DEA license at hire
- Enrollment in Controlled Substance Monitoring Program as applicable in state
- Advanced degree, minimally Master's Degree
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification for healthcare providers
- Hepatitis B vaccination records
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccination records or proof of immunization
- Tuberculosis PPD Skin Test that is no older than 12 months
- Current active, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse and APN in state you are applying for the role, and ability to obtain additional state license(s) upon hire or active license as a Physician Assistant
- Current national board-certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or a Physician Assistant
