Per Diem Nurse Practitioner Interventional Cardiology (St. Joseph's HealthHospital)

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join a highly skilled Interventional Cardiology team at St. Joseph's Health Hospital in Orange, California. The NP will deliver advanced inpatient cardiovascular care with a focus on interventional and procedural cardiology, collaborating with interventional cardiologists and the multidisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include managing inpatient cardiovascular care for interventional cardiology and electrophysiology patients, ordering and evaluating diagnostic studies, performing MCS management and sheath removals, responding to emergencies, assisting with pre- and post-operative care, conducting independent patient rounding after intake and assisting with stress testing, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with standards. Must work independently with the ability to make sound clinical decisions in acute settings, and possess strong teamwork skills. Prior interventional cardiology or acute cardiac care experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $78.43 to $100.83 per hour, with a variable schedule and no weekends. The role is inpatient-only and per diem.
