Job Summary
Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Interventional Cardiology team at St. Joseph's Health Hospital in Orange, CA. Inpatient-focused cardiovascular care with emphasis on interventional and electrophysiology procedures. Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, manage patient status with standard procedures, order and evaluate diagnostic studies, assist with pre- and post-operative care, conduct independent rounds, and serve as a clinical expert in interventional cardiology and acute cardiac care. Involves performing procedures competencies (e.g., MCS management, sheath removals), responding to emergencies, and contributing to outcome tracking and practice improvements. Variable schedule; no weekends; inpatient-only; per diem engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license
- Ability to work independently in acute and emergent settings
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to function within interdisciplinary teams
- Experience or demonstrated competence in interventional cardiology or acute cardiac care (preferred)
