Inpatient Per Diem Nurse Practitioner for an Interventional Cardiology team at St. Joseph Hospital (Orange, CA). The NP delivers advanced cardiovascular care across the continuum with emphasis on interventional and procedural cardiology; collaborates with interventional cardiologists, manages patient care per approved procedures, conducts rounds, orders/evaluates diagnostic studies and therapies, assists with pre-/post-operative care and stress testing, participates in data tracking and cost-quality analysis, and maintains competencies in procedures such as MCS management and sheath removals. Works in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with independent decision-making in acute settings, and participates as a clinical expert within the multidisciplinary care team. Per Diem, inpatient-only, with a variable schedule and no weekends.
