Per Diem Nurse Practitioner Interventional Cardiology (St. Joseph's HealthHospital)

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner in interventional cardiology providing inpatient cardiovascular care, collaborating with interventional cardiologists, and delivering advanced care across the continuum with emphasis on interventional and electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities include inpatient cardiovascular care for interventional cardiology patients, diagnostic orders, therapeutic interventions, monitoring and outcome data tracking, cost-quality analysis, assisting with pre- and post-operative care, independent patient rounding, stress testing, MCS management and sheath removals, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cardiac patients. Requires APRN license in adult-gerontology acute care or acute care and the ability to work independently in acute settings. Salary range reflects hourly pay translated to annualized figures and bonus/additive compensation may apply.
