Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (Interventional Cardiology) at St. Joseph's Health Hospital, Orange, CA. Inpatient cardiovascular care focusing on interventional and procedural cardiology, collaborating with interventional cardiologists in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include advanced inpatient cardiovascular care for patients undergoing interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures, ordering and evaluating diagnostic studies and therapies, assisting with pre- and post-operative care, independent patient rounding, stress testing assistance, and contributing to outcome tracking, data management, and cost quality analysis. Perform and maintain competencies in procedures such as MCS management and sheath removals; respond to emergencies including groin and post-op care events; document care in compliance with regulatory standards; work within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical leadership in interventional cardiology and acute cardiac care. Schedule is per diem with a variable schedule and inpatient-only duties; no weekends.
