Job Summary
Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist role in NYP Hudson Valley Hospital. Under physician supervision, perform Nuclear Medicine exams, operate scanning equipment, prepare and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic studies, ensure compliance with Joint Commission and applicable regulations, and maintain efficient department operations. This is a day shift, on-site position located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567, requiring on-site presence with a minimum of 3 shifts per month. Requires NYSDOH licensure/registration and ARRT or NMTCB certification; AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program graduate; high school diploma; strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and safety; ability to work independently with initiative.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- High school diploma/GED
- Nuclear Medicine License/Registration by NYSDOH
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
