Per Diem Medical Scribe

Accompany physicians into patient examination rooms to accurately document encounters and chart patient history, physical exams, diagnostic findings, and treatment courses in the electronic medical record. Review primary diagnoses with providers to ensure clinical support, enter proposed orders with accurate diagnosis codes, and facilitate the acquisition and status checks of pending test results to increase department throughput. Document procedures performed and verify all prescriptions and follow-up instructions. This per diem role supports the Cardiology Center at Kaweah Health's eight-campus district, focusing on improving patient and department efficiency through precise documentation and timely care coordination.
