Job Summary
The Per Diem Mammography Technologist performs various complex duties related to mammography procedures, including preparing and positioning patients, conducting exams, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires expertise in radiological exams, quality control, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care. The candidate must hold a High School Diploma, have completed a two-year accredited program in Radiologic Technology, and possess current ARRT registration with certification in Mammography.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and two-year accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Radiologic Technologist registered through the ARRT with Certification in Mammography
- Registered with one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist I
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Mammography
- Good understanding of diagnostic tools (ultrasound, needle localizations, stereotactic, MRI)
- Ability to perform advanced positioning imaging
- Strong communication skills
