Job Summary
Supervise care staff in accordance with state regulations and community policies while monitoring the health, safety, and well-being of all residents. Assist in training and monitoring medication administration to maintain clinical quality assurance under federal, state, and local standards. Promote the highest degree of service to residents by leading and demonstrating the company's mission. Participate in all scheduled in-service training and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and procedures. This per diem role is available for Assisted Living and/or Memory Care at a senior living destination in Southbury, CT, with a salary range of $34.00-$35.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- current license
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to health and wellness resident
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs
- The associate must use proper body mechanics
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting
- Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or other related dementias
