Per Diem LPN - NYU Langone Dialysis Center - Mineola - Outpatient Dialysis

Plan and deliver safe, therapeutic, age-appropriate patient care by evaluating clinical status, modifying critical paths, and optimizing outcomes. Perform direct patient care, process medication orders through the Workflow system, and obtain prior authorizations for tests and prescriptions. Document teaching needs, patient responses to interventions, and advance care directives while collaborating with the RN to adjust care plans. Address patient satisfaction issues, manage risk management concerns, and ensure a clean, secure environment. Respond to emergency situations and maintain open communication channels via intra and inter-shift reporting.
