Per Diem LPN - NYU Langone Dialysis Center - Bethpage, Evenings

Plan safe, therapeutic, age-appropriate patient care through assessment, intervention, and evaluation within the dialysis center. Perform direct patient care including verifying medication orders, processing refills via the Workflow system, and obtaining prior authorizations for tests and medications. Document multidisciplinary coordination, patient responses to interventions, and teaching/learning needs while collaborating with RNs to modify care plans. Address patient satisfaction issues, escalate clinical problems to the RN, and maintain a clean, secure environment. Comply with HIPAA, HEICS, and hospital policies while responding to emergency situations as required.
