Job Summary
Per Diem LPN in GI setting provides direct patient care including administering medications and injections, IV therapy as needed, wound care, catheterizations, specimen collection and processing. Performs charting and basic clerical support; maintains ready treatment rooms and inventories; works under supervision of physician or Registered Nurse; emphasizes clear communication with patients and follow-up scheduling. Requires NY LPN licensure, BLS certification upon hire, and completion of an LPN program. IV and/or phlebotomy skills are highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of LPN school program
- Current licensure as LPN in state of New York
- BLS certification upon hire
- IV and/or phlebotomy skills highly preferred
