Job Summary
Direct assigned provider patient schedules throughout the day and manage medication/script lines. Re-direct clinical assessment messages to RNs, PAs, NPs, or providers and prepare rooms, equipment, and patients for office procedures. Greet patients in the waiting area, escort them to exam rooms, and update EMR charts with vital signs, medications, and medical updates. Explain procedures to patients and address questions within scope of practice while maintaining OSHA compliance standards. Report adverse medication events to supervising providers and complete all required company training and in-services. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN Program
- Current state License
- Current CPR certification
- At least one (1) year of medical/surgical experience is preferred
- Travel to other Clinics as needed
- Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Thorough knowledge in computer information systems
- Maintains working knowledge of OSHA compliance standards
