Job Summary
Maintain approved cleanliness and sanitary conditions in assigned Medical Center areas by following safety and infection control guidelines. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors using appropriate solutions and buffing machines. Perform high dusting, spot washes, and bed cleaning, including setting up discharge rooms for admission. Disinfect bathrooms, restock supplies, and manage trash receptacles while adhering to departmental procedures. Use the Bed Tracking system to report completed discharges and ensure adequate supplies throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate and understand simple directions in English
- Must be able to read MSDS & chemical labels
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience cleaning in a Health Care environment preferred but not required
