Job Summary
Provide specialized home infusion therapy as a licensed RN, including IV initiation, monitoring, dressing changes, blood draws, and pump programming, in patients' homes and community settings. Assess patients and develop individualized infusion plans; educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medications, line care, and treatment expectations; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care; monitor for infusion reactions and clinical changes; maintain accurate documentation; support quality improvement and training of staff. Travel to patient homes in Endwell and surrounding areas; adapt to varied home environments and equipment handling.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work independently in varied home environments
