Per Diem Environmental Technician

Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility by performing general cleaning, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, and vacuuming floors and furniture. Transport cleaning supplies using a cart, remove linens and trash, and load washers and dryers in the laundry room. Make beds, replace pillowcases, and stock towels in bathrooms. Set up rooms for functions and meetings, then assist in breakdown and cleaning of event spaces afterward. Report hazardous conditions to the Supervisor and notify maintenance for broken items. This per diem position requires a valid driver's license, bilingual Spanish/English skills, and one year of experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to function optimally in a stressful environment
- Must be detail-oriented and thorough in cleanliness
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests
- Must be bilingual – Spanish/English
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a driving record acceptable to SHH insurer
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a housekeeping department in a healthcare or hospitality setting
- Capacity to lift and transport items up to a specified weight limit (e.g., 25-50 lbs)
- Ability to stand, walk, and drive company vehicles across the campus in different weather conditions
