Per Diem Echocardiographer

Job Summary
Perform complex diagnostic echocardiographic procedures including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, ensuring adherence to ICAEL standards. Maintain patient safety through proper communication and preparation for exams. Assist with training of new staff, conduct equipment maintenance, and keep accurate records of patients and tests. Required qualifications include graduation from an approved Echocardiography program and RDCS certification. Physical requirements include ability to lift and move patients, and be on feet for most of the day.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved Echocardiography program
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer preferred
- Experience in Echocardiography preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to perform physical tasks: lifting, walking, reaching, etc.
