Job Summary
Deliver, pickup, and distribute mail, supplies, and equipment to facilities and patients' residences while transporting contracted patients. Operate company vans and buses across all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and snow. Perform first aid and assist frail and elderly individuals safely. Maintain a safe driving record, preserve confidentiality, and comply with OSHA safety protocols regarding bloodborne pathogens and infection control. Work with managers, vendors, and patients as directed by the CFO or Administrator. On-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read road maps
- Must possess as a minimum, an 8th grade education
- Valid New Jersey driver's license
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be knowledgeable in First Aid and comfortable with assisting the frail and elderly safely
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, snow, etc
- Must be able to safely lift, push, pull and move some equipment and supplies
- Preserve confidentiality in all matters at all times
- Support the Mission
- Comply with the Center's Code of Ethics
- Maintain safe driving record
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Exhibit ability to be flexible in responding to needs of Agency
