Job Summary
Diagnose and treat dental conditions, injuries, and oral irregularities while educating patients on prevention and oral hygiene. Examine patients of all ages, consult on treatment options, and provide restorative, surgical, and orthodontic care as clinically indicated. Coordinate report preparation, maintain accurate dental records, and supervise dental assistants to ensure clinic compliance with state and federal guidelines. Travel between clinics as needed and remain on-call per the Director of Dental Services schedule. Meet productivity goals set by DAP Health. This per diem role supports DAP Health's mission to advance health equity for vulnerable communities in the Coachella Valley and San Diego County.
Required Qualifications
- DDS/DMD Degree from an accredited dental school
- Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of California
- Current BLS certification obtained through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current DEA License
- Meet all credentialing and privileging requirements
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' experience or GPR preferable
- Experience working with a non-profit FQHC Dental clinic preferred
- Experience working with LGBTQ community, homeless, and those with substance use conditions preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish/English, strongly preferred
