Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, corridors, and school grounds, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting sanitary fixtures. Empty trash receptacles, bag waste for disposal, and maintain sidewalks, driveways, and play areas free of debris. Lock and unlock doors to secure the building, and perform minor maintenance such as snow removal, light bulb replacement, and furniture adjustments. This per diem role at Marion P. Thomas Charter School involves working the 4pm-9pm shift. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid New Jersey driver's license if vehicle operation is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from High School or Vocational School or possession of an approved High School Equivalent Certificate
- Applicants will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
- Effective October 18, 2021, Marion P. Thomas Charter School will require all employees to provide to Human Resources either (1) proof of vaccination against COVID-19
