Job Summary
CT Technologist 2 in an off-site outpatient Radiology department performs CT scanning with patient positioning, image display, QA, and documentation. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating the CT scanner, entering scan instructions, ensuring data accuracy, providing clear explanations, maintaining records and equipment QA, networking exams to PACS/AW/Vitrea, and supporting radiologists with research. Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, CT-specific licensure/certification, BLS, and 1-3 years of related experience; strong communication and safety practices are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required
- License MA Rad Tech-Computed Tomography required or Registration Rdgrphy Nuc_Med Cmputd_Tmgrphy required
- Certificate 1 American Registry of Radiologic Technology required
- Certificate 2 Basic Life Support required
- 1-3 years related work experience required
- Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office
