Job Summary
Provide personal care including baths, oral hygiene, skin care, toileting, and dressing assistance. Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding, and perform laundry. Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure when ordered. Support ambulation, exercise, and range of motion activities. Assist with medication self-administration and maintain a clean, orderly living area. Report patient condition changes to the assigned nurse and adhere to documentation standards. Maintain current HHA license, CPR certification, and valid driver's license. Work per diem on the road in Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
