Per Diem- Cert Occupational Therapy Assistant, Acute Care

Per Diem- Cert Occupational Therapy Assistant in Acute Care assists with initial patient assessments under supervision of an licensed OT, documents care including progress notes, administers modalities and exercise regimes per departmental policies, maintains departmental records, and participates in department education. Works with patients across age ranges (neonatal to geriatric) in inpatient care and supports care consistent with Mercy standards. Location: Saint Louis, MO. Eligible candidates typically have OTA program graduation and active COTA licensure with BLS current; one year experience preferred but new graduates considered.
