Job Summary
Per Diem Associate Patient Care Coordinator supporting the emergency department, admitting, switchboard and information desk across locations. Responsible for greeting visitors and patients, registering demographics and financial information, collecting patient liabilities, coordinating admissions and bed tracking, and collaborating with Financial Counseling, Scheduling, Financial Clearance, and clinical teams to ensure complete patient encounters. Flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) with at least one weekend per month and two holidays per year; primarily based at 725 American Ave, Waukesha, WI with cross-training at additional Wisconsin sites. Requires strong customer service, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting or professional work environment
- Basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to work within 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift as needed, and minimum 1 weekend per month and 2 holidays per year
- Ability to travel to other local sites as needed
- Must be 18 years of age or older
