Job Summary
Per Diem Armed Security Officer role in Harrisburg, PA. Responsibilities include delivering high-end customer service, responding to emergencies, deterring and preventing crime, managing ingress/egress control, investigating incidents, completing logs and incident reports, conducting walking or vehicle patrols, building professional rapport with clients and co-workers, de-escalating conflicts, monitoring CCTV, and performing related duties. May be asked to work with a firearm. On-call, as-needed shifts with no guaranteed hours. Compensation ~$22/hour plus benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K, paid training, and parental leave. Our PSO team protects people, information, and property across varied environments including medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events.
Required Qualifications
- ACT 235 (current)
- 21 years of age
- Current and valid DL
- High school diploma or GED
- (1) year experience in armed security recommended
- Must be able to pass PAT and ASO course
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent de-escalation skills
- Proficient firearms skills
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
- Appearance: neat, clean, professional appearance
- Beards and mustaches trimmed
- Ability to work under stress/pressure
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to wear a uniform
- Fitness test requirements (PAT, push-ups, sit-ups)
